What is AIM?
AIM is a welcoming and inclusive space designed to help individuals grow, connect, and thrive. AIM [Advocacy, Inclusion, Motivation] gives participants the opportunity to build meaningful relationships, develop important life skills, and find their voice in a supportive environment. Through engaging group sessions, participants have the chance to explore self-advocacy, build life and social skills, and take part in activities that promote confidence, creativity, and personal growth. Together, we AIM to be our best selves–and make space for everyone to shine.
Through our four pillars outlined below, we help individuals take charge of their future and make a lasting impact in their communities.
AIM Rec (2x per month)
Our recreation events are more than just activities—they’re a chance to learn, build friendships, and try something new. Each event has a theme, from creative arts and cooking to sports, science, and seasonal celebrations.
AIM Planning Committee (1x per month)
If you love brainstorming and making things happen, this is your space. The planning committee designs our events, picks volunteer projects, and helps shape our advocacy efforts.
AIM Cares
We believe in giving back. AIM Cares creates ways for participants and staff to be active in the community through hands-on projects that make a real difference.
AIM In Action
Advocacy means using your voice to make positive change. AIM in Action focuses on issues that matter to individuals with disabilities and promotes inclusion at local, state, and national levels.
